Terms and Conditions for Wexford Golf Club New Year’s Raffle

1. Introduction

By purchasing a ticket for the Wexford Golf Club Raffle, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all participants of the raffle. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not purchase a raffle ticket.

2. Organiser

The raffle is organised by Wexford Golf Club (“the Organizer”), whose registered address is Mulgannon, Wexford Town. The raffle is conducted to raise funds for the club. 

3. Eligibility

•Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of purchasing a raffle ticket.

4. How to Enter

  • Tickets are priced at €10 each and can be purchased through committee members, the office (between 9am and 1pm Monday to Friday). 
  • The raffle will run from 26th November to 31st December 2024. Tickets purchased after the closing date will not be entered into the draw but may still be charged.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to limit the number of tickets an individual can purchase.

5. Prizes

Prizes are as follows:

1. First Prize: €500 membership voucher Wexford Golf Club

2. Second Prize: €300 membership voucher Wexford Golf Club

3. Third Prize: €250 voucher Liam Bowler Pro Shop

4. Fourth Prize: €200 voucher Slice Bar &Restuarant 

5. Fifth Prize: Pair 6 Nation tickets to Ireland v France/England

Plus more prizes 

  • Prizes are transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to substitute a prize with another of equivalent value if circumstances beyond its control deem it necessary.
  • In the event of membership vouchers being won by non-members, membership applications are subject to approval by the management committee as per the Organiser’s club constitution. 

6. Raffle Draw and Winner Notification

  • The raffle draw will take place on 31st December at Wexford Golf Club.
  • Winners will be selected randomly under the supervision of club committee and any members of the public present upstairs in the bar at the time of the draw.
  • Winners will be notified via email/phone within 48 hours of the draw.
  • Results will be posted to Wexford Golf Club’s social media accounts and emailed to members through BRS. 

7. Ticket Refunds and Cancellation

  • Raffle tickets are non-refundable once purchased, except in the event of cancellation of the raffle by the Organiser.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the raffle at any time for any reason. In the event of cancellation, participants will receive a full refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • The Organiser accepts no liability for lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.
  • The Organiser is not responsible for any issues with payment processing, or technical failures beyond its control.
  • The Organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of participating in the raffle or accepting any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Personal Data

  • By entering the raffle, participants consent to the use of their personal data for the purpose of administering the raffle and notifying winners.
  • Personal information will be handled in accordance with Wexford Golf Club’s Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Permit number 123, issued by An Gardai Sioachana, Wexford Division. 

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes via club website.
